About

An avid aviation enthusiast from birth, throwing paper planes out of the cot, I obtained my pilot license in 1988. Not the best time to get hired by the airlines, so I resorted to building a successful business in the Information & Computer Technology industry. I retired 40+ years later, and happily reconnecting with aviation, in the form of RapidSky.

This company was created primarily out of frustration. I found that the aviation industry is moving at a slower pace than the world of high tech. Weighed down with outdated legacy IT systems, lethargic supply chains, and sadly, annoying degree of complacent arrogance in the traditionally established manufacturers.

There has to be a broader path for new technologies, quicker engine delivery, and change in customer service attitude. It seems that RapidSky can find a way to do things smarter, quicker and with a service smile. Our mission is to change the status quo, where it makes cents to do so. Pun intended. While many may promise futuristic flying machines that do not physically exist, we only propose solutions that are actually workable, today. Everyone loves the Jetsons, but the Flintstones were solid as a rock. We only consider proven solutions, and enhance accordingly, where necessary.
