Adept is looking for a good home, for one of its founding team members. This multi-fuel 360hp V6, ⁠liquid-cooled, ⁠FADEC, turbo-charged piston aircraft engine, has been the factory demo engine, since 2013. Initially used for flight testing, and until most recently, for gathering data points for avionics integration. Running the engine on the dyno allows independent calibration and correlation of gauges which has been useful for dialing in the Dynon and Garmin integration. Job now done.

Adept is reluctantly letting it go, as all the testing is complete, and it may sit idle for too long. Like a racehorse, it likes to run!

It only has 300 hours total operating time, and there is no other Adept engine that has been so lovingly taken care of, and accurately tuned. Operated as a demonstration unit by factory technicians and pilots, and has been meticulously maintained by the factory. Ideal for installation in high-performance experimental airplanes. Runs equally well on Avgas, Mogas & Biofuel.
